- 1. Windows 95 OSR 2.5
- 3. Windows 98 Second Edition
- --------------
- Burn the ISO to a CD-R or CD-RW using an ISO burning program such as IMGBurn, using a speed no slower than 4x, but no faster than 48x.
- Put the CD in the CD drive of the computer you want to install one of the four OS's on, and restart the computer.
- When the boot menu appears, choose 'Start computer with CD-ROM support'.
- Within a minute or less you should be the following prompt:
- A:/>
- At the A:/> prompt, type:
- setup
- ...and press enter. You will be presented with the list of 4 OS's, and which number to press to install which OS. For example, to install Windows 98 SE, type:
- 3
- ...and press enter. You will be asked if you want to format the hard drive. If you do (all of your data will be lost and it will take a while depending on the size of your hard drive) type:
- y
- ...and press enter. If you don't, press n.
- The install procedure will then copy the setup files for the OS you have chosen to the hard drive. (The folder will be the name of the OS, such as 'Win95' or 'Win98SE'.) This may take a few minutes.
- The install procedure will then show you the product key for the OS you are about to install. ***Write it down, because it won't be available to you during the install process!!***
- The OS setup program will start. Follow the instructions on the screen. Keep the CD in the drive until the program says to take it out.
- ***This CD also contains a self-extracting archive containing updates and enhancements for each OS on this CD.***
- Thanks for downloading,
